Bulloch Academy had already won 13 in a row dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.1 points) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Tuesday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 34-0 win over the Claxton Tigers. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Gators just coasted through the last quarter.

Bulloch Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Claxton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bulloch Academy will head out to square off against Robert Toombs Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on September 4. As for Claxton, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Screven County at 7:30 p.m. on September 5. This will be the Tigers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
