Gully came up big in Nanih Waiya's 14-1 victory
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Amelia Gully stepped things up a notch to give Nanih Waiya the 'W'. East Marion had no answer to Gully as she scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-2.
Gully's strong effort led Nanih Waiya over East Marion and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Nanih Waiya is 3-0 against East Marion going back to April of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
