The West Hills Wolf Pack had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They rang in the new year with a 55-47 victory over Santana on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as West Hills also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

West Hills' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Vince Hillman, who scored 19 points. Hillman hasn't dropped below 15points for eight straight games. Ethan Shaw was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.

When it comes to explaining why Santana lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jeffrey Van Oostende. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was AJ Kane, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.

West Hills' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-12. As for Santana, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
