Volleyball Game Preview: Elkmont Red Devils vs. Rogers Pirates + How To Watch

The Elkmont Red Devils will head out on the road to challenge the Rogers Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Elkmont is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Elkmont is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since September 5, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Lauderdale County.

Meanwhile, Rogers hadn't done well against Lexington recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Pirates won by a set and slipped past the Golden Bears 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Pirates have posted since August 23rd.

Rogers' victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Elkmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.

Everything went Elkmont's way against Rogers in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as Elkmont made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
