Baseball Game Preview: Tennessee Vikings vs. Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones

The Tennessee Vikings will venture away from home to face off against the Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, Tennessee needed a bit of extra time to put away Unicoi County. They came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 8-5. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Elizabethton was able to grind out a solid win over David Crockett on Monday, taking the game 9-6.

Tennessee's record is now 15-7-1. As for Elizabethton, their record now sits at 17-10.

Tennessee came up short against Elizabethton in their previous meeting on April 2nd, falling 4-0. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
