Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Putnam Valley). They were the clear victors by a 19-2 margin over the Haldane Blue Devils on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won nine matches by nine runs or more so far this season.
Nicky Benedetto was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
