Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clarksdale). They walked away with a 13-9 victory over the Greenville Hornets on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

James Washington made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with six stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
