Volleyball Recap: Neumann Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Neumann entered their tilt with Bishop Verot on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Celtics: when they faced off against the Vikings last Tuesday, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 24-26, 25-16.

Callee Jones paced Neumann's offense, picking up 33 kills. Jones got some help from Hailey Scheffler and her 28 assists. Ivanna Karacosta controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

When it comes to explaining why Bishop Verot lost, don't look at Chase Hathaway. Despite the final result, she had 31 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Sidney Blackwood, who had 16 assists and 15 digs.

Neumann's record now sits at 14-4. As for Bishop Verot, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-6.

Coming up, Neumann will head out to challenge Fort Myers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Verot, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Babcock on the 27th.
