Football Recap: Westview Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Westview lost against San Pasqual back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolverines were outmatched by the Golden Eagles and fell 55-21.

Although Westview took the loss, they still got scores from Josh Haney, Kyler Brown, and Ryan Marsh.

Robert Renteria continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for San Pasqual, throwing for 413 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 16.5 yards per attempt. Jared Brecht did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 122 receiving yards.

Westview's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for San Pasqual, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westview will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Escondido at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. As for San Pasqual, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fallbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
