Basketball Recap: Lutheran North Comes Up Short

Lutheran North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 64-24 defeat at the hands of the Hazelwood Central Hawks. The matchup marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lutheran North's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Hazelwood Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Lutheran North will be playing in front of their home fans against Veritas Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Hazelwood Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 43-39 victory against University City on the 17th.
