Baseball Recap: Heritage Pioneers vs. Liberty Christian Bulldogs
Heritage had lost 18 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 0-14 to make it 19. They lost 13-1 to the Liberty Christian Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-1 back in April.
As for Liberty Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3. Considering they have won six matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
For Liberty Christian's part, Josh Hall made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Hall has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
