Soccer Recap: Magnolia West Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tomball Memorial, Magnolia West was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Klein Cain Hurricanes, sneaking past 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Mustangs were the better team in the second half.

Magnolia West's victory bumped their record up to 4-7-1. As for Klein Cain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10-1.

Coming up, Magnolia West will venture away from home to face off against Klein Collins at 7:15 p.m. on February 18th. As for Klein Cain, they will welcome Klein Oak at 7:15 p.m. on February 18th. Klein Oak's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Klein Cain's offense will have their work cut out for them.
