Baseball Recap: Tecumseh Takes a Loss

The matchup between Tecumseh and North Posey on Tuesday hardly resembled the 3-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Braves lost 14-5 to the Vikings. That's two games in a row now that the Braves have lost by exactly nine runs.

Mason Gogel was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Easton Oxley also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Tecumseh and nudges their season record down to 3-6. As for North Posey, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Tecumseh will face off against Evansville Central at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Posey, they will venture away from home to challenge Evansville Harrison at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
