If Casa Grande wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Buena, they should've done a better job of containing Michael Lujan. The Colts took down the Cougars 49-33 on Friday with plenty of help from Lujan, who rushed for 251 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Buena is undefeated when Lujan posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.

Buena didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jayden Thomas and TJ Walker.

The victory made it two in a row for Buena and bumps their season record up to 5-3. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 2-5 Vista Grande and 3-5 Casa Grande. As for Casa Grande, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-5.
