Baseball Recap: Upper Merion Area Takes a Loss

Upper Merion Area came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Boyertown Bears, falling 8-1. The Vikings have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Upper Merion Area's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Boyertown, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-6.

Coincidentally, Upper Merion Area and Boyertown will both be playing Methacton the next time they take the field. The Bears will host the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Vikings will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
