Basketball Recap: Seaside Drops Highest Score of Season Against Scappoose

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seaside). They enjoyed a cozy 63-47 victory over the Scappoose Indians on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Seagulls: when they faced off against the Indians on January 10th, they had to take a 55-35 loss.

Seaside's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-9. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points per game. As for Scappoose, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-8.

Seaside will welcome Neah-Kah-Nie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neah-Kah-Nie will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Seaside surely won't give up without a fight. As for Scappoose, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 54-45 win against St. Helens on the 30th.
