Soccer Recap: Beatrice Takes a Loss

Beatrice lost against Crete back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Orangemen lost 6-0 to the Cardinals. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 2, 2022, but that streak is no more.

Beatrice's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Crete, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Beatrice will challenge rival Nebraska City at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Crete is set to square off against their familiar foe Northwest at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
