Soccer Recap: Bledsoe County Falls to Stone Memorial in First Game of Season

Bledsoe County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Stone Memorial Panthers on Thursday, falling 5-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 8-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2016.

The victory got Stone Memorial back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bledsoe County will host White County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stone Memorial, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Sequatchie County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
