Recap: Plano Reapers vs. Richmond-Burton Rockets
On Monday, the Plano Reapers's game was all tied up 19-19 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 46-33 win over Richmond-Burton.
Josie Larson was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Plano's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aleksa Martinez, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
The victory got Plano back to even at 12-12. As for Richmond-Burton, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-19.
Plano will head out on the road to face off against Marengo at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Marengo is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for Richmond-Burton, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Sandwich at 7:00 p.m.
