The Wauconda Bulldogs will face off against the Jones Eagles at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Wauconda is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.

Wauconda was handed a four-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Waukegan 3-2. The victory continues a trend for Wauconda in their matchups with Waukegan: they've now won five in a row.

Isabelle Gerle and Emma Wisniewski scored all three of Wauconda's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Meanwhile, Jones didn't have quite enough to beat Amundsen on Wednesday and fell 3-2.

Wauconda now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Jones, they now have a losing record of 2-3-2.
