Basketball Recap: Roosevelt's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Roosevelt can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They took down the Maywood Academy Nighthawks 60-42. The Rough Riders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Nighthawks, too.

Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Maywood Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.

Roosevelt will venture away from home to take on South Gate at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Roosevelt is facing South Gate at the right time seeing as South Gate is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Maywood Academy, they will face off against Marquez at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
