Basketball Recap: Chisago Lakes Area Takes a Loss

Chisago Lakes Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 107-40 loss at the hands of the Monticello Magic. The Wildcats lost against the Magic in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 82-72 score last time.

Chisago Lakes Area's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Monticello, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Chisago Lakes Area will take on Osceola in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chisago Lakes Area is facing Osceola at the right time seeing as Osceola is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Monticello and Cambridge-Isanti will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cambridge-Isanti has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 214 points over their last three matchups.
