Basketball Recap: Environmental Charter Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Neighborhood Academy, Environmental Charter was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 61-43 victory over the Propel Montour Legends. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Hawks as it put an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Environmental Charter got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gerard Williams out in front who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Elijah McBride, who put up 11 points.

Environmental Charter's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-13. As for Propel Montour, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Environmental Charter has already played their next contest (against Monessen), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Propel Montour will challenge Hillel Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillel Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Propel Montour surely won't give up without a fight.
