Game recap: Redding runs for four touchdowns in Mineral Ridge high school football team victory

Mineral Ridge (Ohio) defeat David Anderson (Lisbon, Ohio) 42-26 after a strong game from Devine Redding, who rushed for four touchdowns. The scores gave the junior 12 touchdowns for the year.

After taking the lead on a Jonathan Baker touchdown pass to Steven Phillips in the second quarter, the Rams led 28-14 at the half.

Mineral Ridge expanded its lead to 15 points entering the fourth quarter. MR scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by Redding.

A 42-20 Mineral Ridge victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.



The win was a nice bounce back for Mineral Ridge, which lost to South Range last week, 55-20.

In a Inter-Tri-County - Large game next week Mineral Ridge (4-4) takes on Springfield, and David Anderson (2-6) will go up against South Range also in a Inter-Tri-County - Large game.
