Softball Recap: Shakopee Takes a Loss

Shakopee blew Minnetonka out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Minnetonka got their revenge. The Sabers fell just short of the Skippers by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Sabers have suffered since April 10, 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Shakopee and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Minnetonka, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Shakopee has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Burnsville on the 16th. As for Minnetonka, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-3 victory against St. Michael-Albertville on the 16th.
