Volleyball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Russell-Tyler-Ruthton

Russell-Tyler-Ruthton entered their tilt with Westbrook-Walnut Grove on Monday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Chargers 3-0. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Chargers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-10, 25-18.

When it comes to explaining why Westbrook-Walnut Grove lost, don't look at Leah Vandewiele. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and three assists. Vandewiele is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Russell-Tyler-Ruthton's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Westbrook-Walnut Grove, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-2-1.
