Volleyball Recap: Clay Comes Up Short

Clay lost against Olmsted Falls back in August of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Loss or not, Clay got some senior leadership from Jadyn Kennedy and Leah Franke. Kennedy had nine digs and four assists, while Franke had ten digs.

Clay's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Olmsted Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.

Clay didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Perrysburg on the 23rd. As for Olmsted Falls, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin on the 20th.
