Kailua has gone 7-2 against Kaimuki recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Kailua Surfriders will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Kaimuki Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Kailua is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

Kailua is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Hawaii's top teams: Kahuku, who was ranked 14th at the time (Kailua was ranked seventh). Kailua slipped by Kahuku 49-48 on Monday.

Kailua's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Kaimuki, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.

Kailua strolled past Kaimuki in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 65-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kailua since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
