North Hunterdon moved up to 95 from 139 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mid-State 38 - Watchung. The Lions were able to move up by topping Watchung Hills Regional 54-8.

The Warriors fell to North Hunterdon 54-8 last week, the largest margin of any game. JOSEPH GIACOMO threw for 60 yards and ran for 111 yards in the defeat.

MATT ROZMERSKI was a key player and the best on defense this week as Marc Crisafi's team fell to John Mattes' team. The 5-foot-8 senior.

Chris Chugunov provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Montgomery topped Plainfield. He completed 13 passes for 169 yards and also ran for 5 yards. Chugunov's favorite target this week was Mitch Chugunov, who caught 4 passes for 48 yards.

Jordan Ditzel was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 168 yards on 23 carries as the Lions defeated Linden. Teammate Rob Marron added to the ground attack by rushing for 133 yards.

6-foot-2 quarterback Chugunov of the Cougars is the league leader in passing yards this season with 585. He has also thrown 4 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Nick Franzese. The Ridge star has 16 catches for 300 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Immaculata takes on the Warriors. The Spartans are currently in fifth, while Watchung Hills Regional is in second.

North Hunterdon led Mid-State 38 - Watchung in scoring this week after putting up 54 points on the Warriors. Ditzel ran for 168 yards during the win.
