Softball Recap: Juniata Valley Hornets vs. Curwensville Golden Tide
Juniata Valley extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 5-4-1 in the process. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Curwensville Golden Tide. The Hornets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Tide earlier this season, when they won 12-4.
Kassidy Watson was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and three RBI. Brooklyn Harman was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.
As for Curwensville, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since May 22, 2024.
