Kingwood is 4-0 against Goose Creek Memorial since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Kingwood Mustangs will head out to face off against the Goose Creek Memorial Patriots at 7:30 p.m. Kingwood is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Kingwood's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over MacArthur. The Mustangs' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Meanwhile, Goose Creek Memorial earned a 2-0 win over Barbers Hill on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Goose Creek Memorial has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those seven matchups. As for Kingwood, they pushed their record up to 8-0-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Kingwood took their win against Goose Creek Memorial when the teams last played back in March of 2018 by a conclusive 5-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kingwood since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
