Volleyball Recap: Washington County Comes Up Short

Washington County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles/Banshees this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 18-25, 25-15, 25-14.

Washington County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Bethlehem, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 23-10-1.

Washington County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Presentation on the 11th. Bethlehem has also already played their next contest (against Campbellsville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
