Volleyball Recap: Washington County Takes a Loss

Washington County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles/Banshees this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss back in September.

Washington County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Bethlehem, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington County will host Larue County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bethlehem, they will square off against Campbellsville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
