Baseball Recap: Cedarville Takes a Loss

Cedarville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Paris Eagles, falling 19-6. The Pirates were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Justice Workman was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Lane Garner, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Cedarville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Paris, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Cedarville will venture away from home to face off against Lamar at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Paris, they will take on Subiaco Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
