Beloit Memorial extended their losing streak to six on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 3-11 in the process. They came up short against the Badger Badgers, falling 16-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Badgers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 on Monday.

Michael Nora made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double was his first of the season.

As for Badger, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

On Badger's side, Gavin Stewart made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). Stewart has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Riley Lussmyer was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Bradley McCarthy, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with three runs and one double.
