Volleyball Recap: Shelton Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shelton can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Ridgefield Tigers on Monday. The Gaels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Shelton now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Ridgefield, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.

Shelton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ridgefield, they will challenge Simsbury at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their 20th straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
