Softball Game Preview: Hazen Highlanders vs. Bellevue Wolverines

Hazen is on a seven-game streak of home losses, and Bellevue a 15-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Hazen Highlanders will be playing at home against the Bellevue Wolverines at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for Hazen's offense. They lost 26-0 to Mount Si on Monday.

Meanwhile, Bellevue came up short against Sammamish on Monday, falling 15-3.

Nora Nielsen and Leia Morales did some serious damage despite the final result: Nielsen went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI, while Morales went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Bellevue's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Hazen, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.

Hazen took their win against Bellevue in their previous meeting on April 2nd by a conclusive 20-13 score. Will the Highlanders repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
