Volleyball Recap: Providence Catholic Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Providence Catholic had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They didn't even let the Lemont Lemont HS on the board on Thursday, marking the Celtics' second-straight 2-0 shutout. For the Celtics, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Lemont HS walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2023.

Abbey Knight paced Providence Catholic's offense, picking up 13 kills. Knight got some help from Demi Carbone and her 14 assists. Cali Tierney controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Providence Catholic, bringing their record up to 33-6. As for Lemont, they moved to 25-13 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.
