Soccer Recap: Fellowship Baptist Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Barry County Christian on Thursday, Fellowship Baptist Academy came back down to earth. The Falcons came up short against the Algoma Christian Knights on Saturday, falling 6-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Algoma Christian this season, with their most recent loss being a 5-0 defeat back in September.

Fellowship Baptist Academy's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4-1. As for Algoma Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2-2.

Looking ahead, Fellowship Baptist Academy will face off against Springfield Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Algoma Christian, they will take on Calvary Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Algoma Christian's defense better be ready for this one: Calvary Christian Academy has averaged an impressive 3.7 goals per game this season.
