Sto-Rox scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 77-44 win over Westinghouse. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Sto-Rox has managed all season.
Aumir Nelson and Marcus Griffin were among the main playmakers for Sto-Rox as the former scored 14 points along with three steals and the latter scored 22 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Griffin has scored all season. Michael Jones was another key contributor, scoring five points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, South Park came up short against the Chargers on Friday and fell 70-60. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (58), South Park still had to take the loss.
Sto-Rox's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-10. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for South Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
