After a string of five wins, Middle Tennessee Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Battle Ground Academy Wildcats by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss two weeks ago.

Middle Tennessee Christian's loss dropped their record down to 25-3. As for Battle Ground Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Middle Tennessee Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Battle Ground Academy, they will face off against Franklin Road Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
