Beech had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out the Liberty Creek Wolves 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Buccaneers have posted since August 28th.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Beech got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 27-29, 15-4.

Beech's victory bumped their record up to 7-9-1. As for Liberty Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-13.

The Wolves are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
