Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nederland). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 56-6 win over the Splendora Wildcats. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their 13-point performance the game before.

Splendora's loss came despite strong showings from Tj Burch and Brayden Hinton. Burch picked up 84 receiving yards and one touchdown, while Hinton threw for 99 yards and one TD.

Nederland's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Splendora, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Nederland will welcome Dayton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Broncos' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Splendora, they will venture away from home to square off against West Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
