Soccer Game Preview: Forest Grove vs. Glencoe

The Forest Grove Vikings are taking a road trip to face off against the Glencoe Crimson Tide at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Forest Grove fell victim to Newberg and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Glencoe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Newberg. That's two games in a row now that Glencoe have lost by just one goal.

Glencoe's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Forest Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-3.

Forest Grove couldn't quite get it done against Glencoe in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
