Lawrence is 8-2 against Erskine Academy since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Lawrence comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

On Saturday, Lawrence came up short against Belfast and fell 6-2.

Meanwhile, Erskine Academy fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Leavitt on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets. The Eagles have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Lillian Clark made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season. Another player making a difference was Madison Griffiths, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Lawrence's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Erskine Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Lawrence came out on top in a nail-biter against Erskine Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-1. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
