Baseball Recap: Glenbrook South Gets the Win

Glenbrook South saw some tournament action on Monday. They came out on top against the Lakeside School Chiefs by a score of 7-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

Blake Hoffer looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and only one walk).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on James Dooman, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Michael Eschenbach was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple.

Glenbrook South's record now sits at 2-0. As for Lakeside School, the loss snapped their winning streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 28-3 record.

Glenbrook South wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 6-3 win against Rogers on the 25th. As for Lakeside School, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-7 victory against Deerfield on the 24th.
