Baseball Recap: The Dalles Comes Up Short

The Dalles lost to Estacada on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Riverhawks fell just short of the Rangers by a score of 4-3. That's two games in a row now that the Riverhawks have lost by just one run.

Thatcher Dray was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

The Dalles has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record this season. As for Estacada, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. The Dalles is set to take on their familiar foe Molalla at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Estacada will square off against rival Madras at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
