Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Desert Hills walked away with it. They came out on top against the West Field Longhorns by a score of 4-1 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Thunder sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Lulu West spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Riley Greene, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Bailey Lee, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Desert Hills' victory bumped their record up to 31-2. As for West Field, their loss dropped their record down to 19-6.

Desert Hills has already played their next matchup, a 6-3 defeat against Bear River on the 15th. West Field does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
