Baseball Recap: Centauri Takes a Loss

Centauri couldn't beat Buena Vista on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Falcons fell just short of the Demons by a score of 9-8. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Demons: they've now lost eight in a row.

Parker Buhr was cooking despite his team's loss, going 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Centauri is 3-1 when Buhr posts three or more hits, but 5-14 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Leland Chacon, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Centauri's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Buena Vista, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-11.

As of now, neither Centauri nor the Demons have any future games scheduled.
