Gresham had lost eight games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 4-21 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the David Douglas Scots 15-1. The Gophers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

As for David Douglas, they dropped their record down to 3-22 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 8, 2023, but that streak is no more.

For David Douglas' part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Hall, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gresham will challenge Reynolds at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Gophers surely won't give up without a fight. As for David Douglas, they are taking a road trip to challenge McKay at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
